A Secret Best Not Kept

"A Secret Best Not Kept" is a full length feature documentary film about suicide. It goes into the depths of this full scale problem by interviewing people who have attempted suicide and people who have lost family members, as well as those advocating for more services to those suffering from mental illness. Dara also follows these advocates on Capitol Hill while they urge lawmakers to pass mental health parity. She even interviews the Surgeon General about this important topic.
The film was shown at mental health conferences and featured in the New York Film and Television Festival in NYC.
